Storyteller

Winner of the ABR Listener’s Choice Award in Mystery and a multi-published mystery and romance author since 2005, I began narrating and publishing audiobooks in 2016. I love bringing characters to life with different accents and inflections. My voice lends well to sensual, seductive reads. I bring a natural sense of timing that heightens tension or gives a moment of relief until the action ratchets up again.

Titles

I’ve independently narrated and produced two of my Dori O. Paranormal Mystery series. I have self-trained in audiobook narration technique, as well as in digital audio production using Audacity software. I have taken beginning courses in Spanish, and I study accents as needed. I edit and master my own projects.

Experience

For more than 20 years, I’m a professional communicator as an independent as well as a published author with Harper Collins and St. Martins, a journalist for the Los Angeles Times Community News, and owner/operator of a boutique public relations, marketing, and social media firm. What I love most about my work is meeting people who have lived through extraordinary circumstances and sharing their stories to inspire, inform and entertain others. As a narrator, I love bringing the printed words to life and creating a world for listeners commuting to and from work, exercising, cleaning the house, or wherever they take their audiobooks. As a member of the national and Orange County Chapter of Romance Writers of America and Sisters In Crime, I love teaching and sharing information with my fellow authors.
